Run for the Roses is a 5K and 10K walk/run and kid's fun run held every fall. Sigma Alpha Iota () is a womens music fraternity.
Mariettas Psi Nu chapter was established in 2000. Pi Sigma Alpha is the only honors society in the United States dedicated to students of political science and government. Sigma Alpha Iota is a womens fraternity that was founded in 1903 on the campus of the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. Run for the Roses and "AOIIHOP" are our chapter's annual philanthropies. Pi Sigma Alpha is the national honor society in political science.
All members of the Fraternity, collegiate and alumnae, are expected to live these values to the fullest and carry the spirit of AOII into the world around them. was to create an organization that helps the local community, unites women, and promotes scholarship. Alpha Omicron Pi was founded on the ideals of character, dignity, scholarship, and college loyalty. They enable us to go with character and confidence into the world around us, confidently knowing AOII is ours, offering friendships and opportunities throughout our lifetime. Our lives are to be living symbols of these values that we hold in common. We are inspired to promote the values of simplicity, integrity, circumspection, tolerance, generosity, personal dignity, and love. Membership is open to students in all majors who meet eligibilty standards. The values on which AOII was founded help lead us in the decisions we make and the behaviors we exhibit in our daily lives. Alpha Omicron Pi is an international women's fraternity promoting friendship for a lifetime, inspiring academic excellence and lifelong learning, and developing leadership skills through service to the fraternity and community.
